Paper Asia
In the difficult world of papermaking one of the foremost problems is faulty steam and condensate systems. Assembled with collections of equipment prescribed by elementary control technology, without regard for the technical history of the industry or for that matter good science, they are the source of costly losses in production and energy and in the profitability of producing paper.
Blow-Thru Control
Gardner Systems Blow-Thru control is a major departure from the old DP (differential pressure) method of controlling drainage from paper machine dryers. In the decade 1960-70 Gardner studied dryer syphon performance and ultimately obtained an accurate mathematical correlation of the laboratory work of Don Calkins at Johnson Corp. and Bob Daane at Beloit Corp. on commercial syphons.
